Payment Information
Acceptable forms of payment include credit card (American Express, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club) and e-check (you will need your bank routing and account number).
Cancellations / Refunds
Cancellations must be received in writing via email (please reference Geo-Congress 2026) by February 7, 2026. A $100 processing fee will be deducted from all refunds.
Child Care Grant
The Geo-Institute will offer grants of up to $250 USD to help members with dependent children attend Geo-Congress 2026.
Grant applications must be submitted by midnight Eastern Time on February 15, 2026.
The reimbursement form and submission instructions will be sent to approved applicants between March 9 and March 12, 2026.
Reimbursements will be distributed by April 15, 2026, after Geo-Congress 2026.
Grant Eligibility and Terms
- Grant recipients must be G-I members and must have attended Geo-Congress 2026
- Only one grant per family
- Grants will be awarded to help defray the costs of child care provided at the conference location
Examples of eligible expenses include
- Fees for babysitters on-site at the conference location
- Airfare/hotel costs for a caregiver to travel to the conference location
Examples of ineligible expenses include
- Child care provided in the member’s hometown
- Tickets to attractions
